The Beaches Energy Services in Jacksonville Florida is offering rebates to residential customers as an incentive to install energy-efficient Air Conditioning equipment, duct leak repairs, and insulation upgrades in your existing homes. Please note that New construction doesn’t qualify for the rebates discussed in this article. There are rebates available for installation of programmable thermostats, heat pumps, ceiling insulation upgrades, duct repair/replacement, and window film/solar screens. The installed equipment must qualify by meeting certain energy efficiency standards listed on the rebate programs website. The rebate programs application can be downloaded from the website as well, and all applications must be submitted within 60 days of project completion in order to qualify.
Below are some examples of rebates amounts:
- Programmable Thermostats: $25
- Heat Pumps: $100 – $300
- Solar Water Heater: $500
- Attic Insulation: up to $300
- Window Film/ Solar Screening: cost of project up to $100
- Duct Leak Replacement/Repair: 150
