Trane CleanEffects™ uses a patented technology to dramatically increase it’s effectiveness. This performance isn’t a boast on our part it has been verified by Harvard professors from their School of Public Health. This system removes more allergens from the home’s filtered air than all other air cleaning systems. In fact it removes up to 100 times more than a standard 1″ filter.
This system has a three fold design which creates the efficiency. First, the system traps large particles that circulate through the HVAC system in your home. A majority of these large particles are circulated as airborne particles through the ducting and trapped in the pre-filter.
The next step is to “charge” the smaller particles. The Trane CleanEffects™ system has a field charger, which creates multiple electrically charged corona fields. The difference between this system and many of our competitors is that the air must pass through many corona fields instead of a single charged plate or wire. Therefore, more contaminants are collected than with traditional electronic air cleansing systems.
Lastly, it collects the smallest particles. Every field in the Trane CleanEffects™ system has a collection element which is only .08 inches apart. This small gap along with the alternating charges, makes for a more effective collection field. The collection field is so strong that it traps particulates down to .1 micron. Another interesting feature is the patented filter doesn’t hamper air flow through the system, because it doesn’t clog. This makes it the most efficient filter on the market.
